End of the Lunar Sabbath Heresy
You all may want to read Daniel McGirr’s study disproving the Lunar Sabbath.
Just to start here’s Joshua 5:9-12, “Then Yahweh said to Joshua, “This day I have rolled away the reproach of Egypt from you.” Therefore the name of the place is called Gilgal to this day.
10Now the children of Israel camped in Gilgal, and kept the Passover on the fourteenth day of the month (14th) at twilight on the plains of Jericho. 11And they ate of the produce of the land on the day after the Passover (15th), unleavened bread and parched grain, on the very same day (1st day of the Feast of Unleavened Bread). 12Then the manna ceased on the day after (16th); they had eaten the produce of the land and the children of Israel no longer had manna, but they ate the food of the land of Canaan that year.”
If the manna ceased on the 16th, then manna still fell on the 15th, which is a problem if the 15th was the Sabbath!! Manna NEVER fell on the Sabbath! The 16th may have been the Sabbath, but the 15th COULD NOT have been the Sabbath.
Exodus 16:4-5, “Then Yahweh said to Moses, “Behold, I will rain bread from heaven for you. And the people shall go out and gather a certain quota every day, that I may test them, whether they will walk in My Torah or not. 5And it shall be on the sixth day that they shall prepare what they bring in, and it shall be twice as much as they gather daily.””
Exodus 16:35, “And the children of Israel ate manna forty years, until they came to an inhabited land; they ate manna until they came to the border of the land of Canaan.” Josh and the gang crossed the Jordan River on the 10th day of the 41st year of the Exodus.
If you still observe a Lunar Sabbath, you may want to correct your heretical ways and walk in Yahweh’s Torah, not your own understanding.
Blessings,
