ISRAEL’S LAST CHANCE
Ezekiel 15:6f, “6“Therefore thus says Sovereign Yahweh: ‘Like the wood of the vine among the trees of the forest, which I have given to the fire for fuel, so I will give up the inhabitants of Jerusalem; 7and I will set My face against them. They will go out from one fire, but another fire shall devour them. Then you shall know that I am Yahweh, when I set My face against them. 8Thus I will make the land desolate, because they have persisted in unfaithfulness,’ says Sovereign Yahweh.””
Zechariah 12, “The burden of the word of Yahweh against Israel. Thus says Yahweh, who stretches out the heavens, lays the foundation of the earth, and forms the spirit of man within him: 2“Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of drunkenness to all the surrounding peoples, when they lay siege against Judah and Jerusalem. 3And it shall happen in that day (Judgment Day) that I will make Jerusalem a very heavy stone for all peoples; all who would heave it away will surely be cut in pieces, though all nations of the earth are gathered against it. . . 6In that day (Judgment Day) I will make the governors of Judah like a firepan in the woodpile, and like a fiery torch in the sheaves; they shall devour all the surrounding peoples on the right hand and on the left, but Jerusalem shall be inhabited again in her own place—Jerusalem. . . 8In that day (Judgment Day) Yahweh will defend the inhabitants of Jerusalem; the one who is feeble among them in that day (Judgment Day) shall be like David, and the house of David shall be like Yahweh, like the Angel of Yahweh before them. 9It shall be in that day (Judgment Day) that I will seek to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem.
10“And I will pour on the house of David and on the inhabitants of Jerusalem the Spirit of grace and supplication; then they will look on Me whom they pierced. Yes, they will mourn for Him as one mourns for his only son, and grieve for Him as one grieves for a firstborn. 11In that day (Judgment Day) there shall be a great mourning in Jerusalem. . .”
Zechariah 14, “Behold, the (Judgment) day of Yahweh is coming,
And your spoil will be divided in your midst.
2 For I will gather all the nations to battle against Jerusalem;
The city shall be taken,
The houses rifled,
And the women ravished.
Half of the city shall go into captivity,
But the remnant of the people shall not be cut off from the city.
3 Then Yahweh will go forth
And fight against those nations,
As He fights in the day of battle.
4 And in that day (Judgment Day) His feet will stand on the Mount of Olives (this is the Second Coming of Yeshua HaMashiach),
Which faces Jerusalem on the east.
And the Mount of Olives shall be split in two,
From east to west,
Making a very large valley;
Half of the mountain shall move toward the north
And half of it toward the south.
5 Then you shall flee through My mountain valley,
For the mountain valley shall reach to azal.
Yes, you shall flee
As you fled from the earthquake
In the days of Uzziah king of Judah.
Thus Yahweh my Mighty One will come,
And all the saints with You.
6 It shall come to pass in that day (Judgment Day)
That there will be no light;
The lights will diminish.
7 It shall be one day
Which is known to Yahweh—
Neither day nor night.
But at evening time it shall happen
That it will be light.
8 And in that day (Judgment Day) it shall be
That living waters (The Word, Yeshua) shall flow from Jerusalem,
Half of them toward the eastern sea
And half of them toward the western sea;
In both summer and winter it shall occur.
9 And Yahweh shall be King over all the earth.
In that day (Judgment Day) it shall be—
“Yahweh is one,”
And His name one. . .
11 The people shall dwell in it;
And no longer shall there be utter destruction,
But Jerusalem shall be safely inhabited.
12And this shall be the plague with which Yahweh will strike all the people who fought against Jerusalem:
Their flesh shall dissolve while they stand on their feet,
Their eyes shall dissolve in their sockets,
And their tongues shall dissolve in their mouths. . .
16And it shall come to pass that everyone who is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall go up from year to year to worship the King, Yahweh of hosts, and to keep the Feast of Tabernacles. 17And it shall be that whichever of the families of the earth do not come up to Jerusalem to worship the King, Yahweh of hosts, on them there will be no rain. 18If the family of Egypt will not come up and enter in, they shall have no rain; they shall receive the plague with which Yahweh strikes the nations who do not come up to keep the Feast of Tabernacles. 19This shall be the punishment of Egypt and the punishment of all the nations that do not come up to keep the Feast of Tabernacles.”
The above Scripture passages reveal that just prior to Yeshua’s return, Yahweh is going to spank Israel one last time in an attempt to wake His chosen people up and cause as many as will to repent and turn to Him in faith in Yeshua. Many spiritual eyes will be open to see that Yeshua is indeed their long-promised Messiah. Many will repent and give their lives over to Yeshua. It appears that Jerusalem will temporarily be taken over by her enemies and half the population will be hauled away into captivity. But it will be a short-lived captivity this time. Yeshua will show up to deliver His people. Jerusalem will stand forever. Many Jewish people will be saved by grace through faith in Yeshua. Unfortunately, they’re waiting to the last minute of human history to turn to their King of kings, but better late than never.
Something for Replacement Theology types to take note of. Look at Zecharia 14:16-19 above and meditate on that passage for as long as you need to. THE LAW of Yahweh, His Torah, His instructions, His Feasts, WILL BE THE LAW of the Kingdom of Yahweh for all eternity. It is obvious to a spiritually in tune person that this passage clearly shows that the Law of Yahweh WAS NOT NAILED TO THE EXECUTION STAKE OF YESHUA in 30 CE!!! Could Yahweh state it any simpler? Could I write it any plainer? Zechariah clearly teaches that the FEASTS of Yahweh will be observed, heeded, and obeyed in the Millennium Kingdom of Yeshua ON THE EARTH. Good grief people, think it through, who’s law would Yahweh use to govern His own Kingdom? Would He borrow the millions upon millions of pages of American law? Would He use the Koran or the Satanic Bible? Come on. Use your spiritual head, not your flesh brain.
Now take a good look at what Paul taught in Colossians 2:11-15, “In Him you were also circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, by putting off the body of the sins of the flesh, by the circumcision of Messiah (circumcision of your heart), 12buried with Him in baptism, in which you also were raised with Him through faith in the working of Yahweh, who raised Him from the dead. 13And you, being dead in your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh, He has made alive together with Him, having forgiven you all trespasses, 14having wiped out the handwriting of requirements that was against us, which was contrary to us. And He has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the cross. 15Having disarmed principalities and powers, He made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them in it.” By the time Yeshua and Paul were born into ancient Judaism, the demons of hell had confused and twisted the purity of Yahweh’s words into dozens, if not hundreds, of oral traditions and commandments of men. The people of Yahweh were burdened down with so much religious teaching of the Pharisees and Sadducees that they could not possibly please Yahweh. The simplicity of the gospel of Yahweh had been perverted by Yahweh’s enemy, Satan; it was these religious traditions and commandments of men that Paul said were against us and contrary to us. It is these burdens that were nailed to the cross of Messiah. And since Yeshua was the ultimate completely satisfactory sacrifice for sin, the whole sacrificial system was no longer necessary. That’s why Yahweh saw to it to destroy the Second Temple in 70 CE.
Torah, Yahweh’s Law, means His instructions. It is His guidebook for Christian living, Genesis to Revelation. Why do you think Yeshua and Paul had so much trouble with the religious Jews? Because He did not walk according to the commandments of men, but according to the commandments of Yahweh, Yeshua was killed by the Jews. Paul was delivered from traditional Judaism. That’s why he wrote often rebuking the disciples for slipping back into the oral tradition of the Pharisees and Sadducees. Colossians 2:11-13, “Now when Peter had come to Antioch, I withstood him to his face, because he was to be blamed; 12for before certain men came from James, he would eat with the Gentiles; but when they came, he withdrew and separated himself, fearing those who were of the circumcision. 13And the rest of the Jews also played the hypocrite with him, so that even Barnabas was carried away with their hypocrisy.”
Yahweh will have Law and Order in His Kingdom, perfectly administered. Look at Revelation 22:14-15, “Blessed are those who do His commandments, that they may have the right to the tree of life, and may enter through the gates into the city. 15But outside are dogs and sorcerers and sexually immoral and murderers and idolaters, and whoever loves and practices a lie.” This is a statement in the context of the Millennial Kingdom on earth. If we will then be living under a doctrine of sloppy agape greasy grace, why are there lawbreakers that are not allowed into the City of Yahweh? It looks like there will be people of flesh and blood that may choose not to obey Yeshua’s way. Apparently, we will be living under a system of Law that distinguishes between good and evil, right and wrong. Yahweh’s Law has not changed, not from the beginning of creation, not at the cross of Yeshua, nor will it change in the Millennium, nor will it ever change. We only get in because we trust in Yeshua as our Savior, that His blood is sufficient to take away our sin, that His finished work at the cross is more than adequate to satisfy the requirements of Yahweh’s Law. At the resurrection when Yeshua returns, the lucky ones get resurrected, immortal bodies that won’t WANT to sin. We the corrupt will put on the incorruptible body of the resurrection. Just know that Yahweh’s Royal Law never goes away. Yeshua said so, Matthew 24:35b, “My words will by no means pass away.” His word will not go past you, fly over your head, or perish from your life, it will stick to you and in you so you can stand before Him.
John 6:63, “It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life.”
1 John 2:3, “Now by this we know that we know Him, if we keep His commandments. 4He who says, “I know Him,” and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.”
1 John 3:22-23, “And whatever we ask we receive from Him, because we keep His commandments and do those things that are pleasing in His sight. 23And this is His commandment: that we should believe on the name of His Son Jesus Christ and love one another, as He gave us commandment.”
1 John 5:1-5, “Whoever believes that Jesus is the Christ is born of Yahweh, and everyone who loves Him who begot also loves him who is begotten of Him. 2By this we know that we love the children of Yahweh, when we love Yahweh and keep His commandments. 3For this is the love of Yahweh, that we keep His commandments. And His commandments are not burdensome. 4For whatever is born of Yahweh overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith. 5Who is he who overcomes the world, but he who believes that Jesus is the Son of Yahweh?”
