MANKIND MUST REPENT
Part of Balaam’s oracle to Balak, Numbers 23:19, “Yahweh is not a man, that He should lie, nor a son of man, that He should repent. Has He said, and will He not do? Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good?” Yahweh made it clear that He has no need to repent of anything. He doesn’t sin, so no problem for Him there. He doesn’t commit evil against any man or angel, so He doesn’t need to repent of any evil act. Yahweh is perfectly holy and righteous. He is holiness. He is righteousness. He is wholly good. He is perfect. So what’s the message for us? WE ARE MEN, SO WE NEED TO REPENT!!
You’ve seen the news of riots in England. You’ve heard of the flash mobs in the large cities in America, robbing any retail store they choose. Well, I think I’ve seen it all now. I deliver prescription drugs in a little hick town in Colorado. So I pull up to this one client’s residence. I have one $1.00 med for the man. I have one $1.00 med for the woman. The strung out woman comes to the door and tells me she doesn’t have any money, the man left her at home without any funds. So what? She snatches the meds out of my hands and tells me she has to take her meds. As she rushes back inside her mobile home, she tells me I can call the police if I wish. Right. . . I’m going to call the cops on a $2.00 thief while making a FREE delivery right to her front door! You should have seen her dogs, two dogs the size of the little truck I was driving! I just got mugged in broad daylight by a little crack head woman with two monster dogs! What is wrong with this picture? What is wrong with Americans? What is wrong with this woman? She’s not just sick, she’s a sinner, in great need of repentance.
What did Yeshua say in Luke 13:1-5, “There were present at that season some who told Him about the Galileans Americans whose blood Pilate Osama bin Laden had mingled with their sacrifices. 2And Yeshua answered and said to them, “Do you suppose that these Galileans Americans were worse sinners than all other Galileans Americans, because they suffered such things? 3I tell you, no; but unless you repent you will all likewise perish. 4Or those eighteen on whom the tower in Siloam New York City fell and killed them, do you think that they were worse sinners than all other men who dwelt in Jerusalem New York City? 5I tell you, no; but unless you repent you will all likewise perish.”” Friends, we are all sinners. We all need to repent daily, habitually, or else we will all likewise perish. Civilized society is crumbling down around us. People have rejected Yahweh and His Son Yeshua. There is salvation in no one else. We are just beginning to reap the consequences of our poor choices. The nations are collapsing under the weight of sin. The entire world is coming apart because of sin. Sure, Yeshua died for our sins, but unless each person repents of his sin and turns to Yeshua in faith, the sin problem remains. Not for long though. Yahweh is about fed up with the foolishness of mankind.
You don’t think I became angry when a little crack head woman steals from me? I was filled with rage, but was I going to say or do something stupid for which I would later be sorry? No. I just had to walk away. That woman will pay if she does not repent. Her man friend will pay if he does not repent. If a $2.00 sin makes me that angry, I mean I was ready to pop, how do you think that “little” sin makes Yahweh feel? Why are the Scriptures filled with verses describing Yahweh coming to judge the earth in anger and fury? Because sin is so wicked and damaging that it makes even the Creator of the universe angry! He knows what sin has done to His perfect creation. Yahweh is infinitely more patient with sin and sinners than I could ever hope to be, but the cup of mankind’s sin is about full. When Yahweh says enough is enough, look out human, look out nation, look out world. Our days on this planet are numbered, and the number is shrinking on a daily basis. If we’re not already in the seven-year tribulation, which we are not supposed to be in, since we have not been raptured yet, I can still smell the fires of judgment beginning to burn. What does a hundred pound burning hailstone smell like anyway? And what’s that fiery orange glow on the horizon? Oh that, that’s hellfire. . .
I pray for my customers, please pray for me, so I don’t do or say something stupid. I mean, really, who wants to go to prison over a $2.00 sin? I’ll pray for you too.
