Much Rain is Coming

MUCH RAIN IS COMING

Jeremiah 14, “The word of Yahweh that came to Jeremiah concerning the droughts.” Wait a minute, I thought the title of this blog said much rain is coming. How can we be concerned with a drought when much rain is coming? Ok, we take all Scripture literally, but is Jeremiah speaking naturally or spiritually? The answer is yes. He is speaking naturally and spiritually to this generation. When Yahweh is upset with the leaders of Israel, he withholds physical rain from the Land, causing famine in the land of Israel. 2 Samuel 21:1, “Now there was a famine in the days of David for three years (990 BCE – 988 BCE), year after year; and David inquired of Yahweh. And Yahweh answered, “It is because of Saul and his bloodthirsty house, because he killed the Gibeonites.”” Israel had sworn to protect the Amorite clan of Gibeon, but King Saul broke that covenant by killing them, therefore, Yah’s wrath was upon the land of Israel. The natural nation of Israel today faces problems with nature, wildfires, drought, possible famine. Why? Is it possible that He is displeased with the leaders of Israel today? I believe that is a real possibility. Israel continues to negotiate with terrorists and still desires to give away its inheritance, their very birthright, for a bowl of lentil soup. They continue to follow in the footsteps of their uncle Esau, instead of in the footsteps of their father in the faith, Jacob. This is why they continue to reject their Messiah, Yeshua. Please pray that Yahweh grants our Jewish brothers repentance, they need to receive Yeshua before He shows up on Judgment Day. All Israel must be saved in like manner, through repentance and faith in Yeshua. There is no other way.

2 “Judah mourns, And her gates languish; They mourn for the land, And the cry of Jerusalem has gone up. 3 Their nobles have sent their lads for water (Word of Yahweh); They went to the cisterns (churches, synagogues) and found no water (Word of Yahweh). They returned with their vessels (spirits) empty; They were ashamed and confounded And covered their heads. 4 Because the ground is parched, For there was no rain (Holy Spirit) in the land (spirit), The plowmen were ashamed; They covered their heads. 5 Yes, the deer also gave birth in the field, But left because there was no grass. 6 And the wild donkeys (Palestinians, Ishmaelites) stood in the desolate heights; They sniffed at the wind like jackals; Their eyes failed because there was no grass.” 7 O Yahweh, though our iniquities testify against us, Do it for Your name’s (Yahweh) sake; For our backslidings are many, We have sinned against You. 8 O the Hope of Israel, his Savior in time of trouble, Why should You be like a stranger in the land, And like a traveler who turns aside to tarry for a night? 9 Why should You be like a man astonished, Like a mighty one who cannot save? Yet You, O Yahweh, are in our midst, And we are called by Your name (Yahweh); Do not leave us! 10Thus says Yahweh to this people: “Thus they have loved to wander; They have not restrained their feet. Therefore Yahweh does not accept them; He will remember their iniquity now, And punish their sins.” 11Then Yahweh said to me, “Do not pray for this people, for their good. 12When they fast, I will not hear their cry; and when they offer burnt offering and grain offering, I will not accept them. But I will consume them by the sword, by the famine, and by the pestilence.”

Verse 12 sounds a lot like Matthew 24:6-7, “And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled; for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. 7For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places.” Yahweh prefers to use nature to judge the world and His people, but He will also raise up a warring nation to punish those who reject Him and His Way. In the end, He steps back and allows the beast system to destroy most of the earth and its inhabitants by warfare.

13Then I said, “Ah, Master Yahweh! Behold, the prophets say to them, ‘You shall not see the sword, nor shall you have famine, but I will give you assured peace in this place.’” 14And Yahweh said to me, “The prophets prophesy lies in My name. I have not sent them, commanded them, nor spoken to them; they prophesy to you a false vision, divination, a worthless thing, and the deceit of their heart. 15Therefore thus says Yahweh concerning the prophets who prophesy in My name, whom I did not send, and who say, ‘Sword and famine shall not be in this land’—‘By sword and famine those prophets shall be consumed! 16And the people to whom they prophesy shall be cast out in the streets of Jerusalem because of the famine and the sword; they will have no one to bury them—them nor their wives, their sons nor their daughters—for I will pour their wickedness on them.’”

The purveyors of the peace and prosperity gospel are still out there telling their lies about Yahweh and His kingdom, but their rainy day is coming soon. See Jeremiah 6:14 and 8:11.

17“Therefore you shall say this word to them: ‘Let my eyes flow with tears night and day, And let them not cease; For the virgin daughter of my people Has been broken with a mighty stroke, with a very severe blow. 18 If I go out to the field, Then behold, those slain with the sword! And if I enter the city, Then behold, those sick from famine! Yes, both prophet and priest go about in a land (body) they do not know.’” 19 Have You utterly rejected Judah? Has Your soul loathed Zion? Why have You stricken us so that there is no healing for us? We looked for peace, but there was no good; And for the time of healing, and there was trouble.”

Though there is much trouble across this globe, and much worse troubles are on the way by the hour now, we still look for much rain from Yahweh, physical rain and spiritual rain. Counterfeit spiritual movements are sweeping the world today. Discern them and do not become a part of what the beast is putting together in the New World Order. We will see physical famines sweep this world as Yahweh withholds rain as part of Judgment Day events, but AFTER Judgment Day we will also see the outpouring of the Holy Spirit prophesied by Joel in 2:28-29, “And it shall come to pass afterward That I will pour out My Spirit on all flesh; Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, Your old men shall dream dreams, Your young men shall see visions. 29And also on My menservants and on My maidservants I will pour out My Spirit in those days.”

Read all of Joel 2, it’s great end-time Word. I don’t know if this old body can hold any more of the Holy Spirit, but I hope to hang around long enough to find out. Much rain is coming, but it may appear in the middle of a drought of the Word of Yahweh. There are teachers out there who say that Yahweh is not angry with us because of what Yeshua has done for us on the execution stake. Those who obey Yahweh are always protected by Him, but that does not mean He is not angry with sinners, those that continually reject Him. It is precisely because sinners reject what Yeshua has accomplished on the cross that makes Yahweh and Yeshua angry. Check out the end-time prophecy of Ezekiel 38:18-23, ““And it will come to pass at the same time (Yahweh is a clock watcher), when Gog comes against the land of Israel,” says Sovereign Yahweh, “that My fury will show in My face. 19For in My jealousy and in the fire of My wrath I have spoken: ‘Surely in that day (the Day of Yahweh, Judgment Day, sometime between 2010 – 2030 CE) there shall be a great earthquake in the land of Israel (Mt. 24:7), 20so that the fish of the sea, the birds of the heavens, the beasts of the field, all creeping things that creep on the earth, and all men who are on the face of the earth shall shake at My presence. The mountains shall be thrown down, the steep places shall fall, and every wall shall fall to the ground.’ (Western Wailing Wall – WWW, Mt. 24:2) 21I will call for a sword against Gog throughout all My mountains,” says Sovereign Yahweh. “Every man’s sword will be against his brother. 22And I will bring him to judgment with pestilence and bloodshed (Rev. 14:20); I will rain down on him, on his troops, and on the many peoples who are with him, flooding rain, great hailstones, fire, and brimstone. 23Thus I will magnify Myself and sanctify Myself, and I will be known in the eyes of many nations. Then they shall know that I am Yahweh.”’”

Ezekiel is talking about the Gog/Magog war to take place about 2,000 years AFTER Yeshua’s ascension to the heavens. 2,000 years AFTER Yeshua shed His precious blood for our sins, we see a vivid picture of an angry Mighty One, Yahweh the Father showing up in wrath against those who hate Him. We all know what an angry man looks like when his blood boils and he gets all red in the face, usually totally out of control. Well, Yahweh may look something like that in His anger, but of course He will be in total control of Himself. Yahweh has to be in total self-control in order to sling 100-pound hailstones accurately at His targets (Rev. 16:21), but He will be angry, full of fury and wrath. Much rain is coming. Will it be a rain of the Holy Spirit? Yes, eventually, after Judgment Day. Will it be a flooding rain of great hailstones, fire, and brimstone? Yes. Will it bring an end to the rejection of Yahweh and His Son, Yeshua? Yes and AMEN! Why must He bring human history to an end? Because men refuse to repent of their iniquities, their wickedness, their drug sorceries. Revelation 9:20-21, “But the rest of mankind, who were not killed by these plagues, did not repent of the works of their hands, that they should not worship demons, and idols of gold, silver, brass, stone, and wood, which can neither see nor hear nor walk. 21And they did not repent of their murders or their (drug) sorceries or their sexual immorality or their thefts.”

The days of the Lamb of Yahweh are about over, the Lion of the tribe of Judah is about to stand up, in judgment. Over the last 6,000 years Yeshua has certainly forgiven His enemies 70 times 7 times (Mt. 18:22). He doesn’t have to turn His other cheek any more. For the record, 2030 CE is 2,000 years after the death, burial, resurrection, and ascension of our Savior, Yeshua. 2030 CE is also a 7th-year Sabbatical year. 2030 CE is also the 49th year of the Jubilee Cycle. 2030 CE is also the last year of the 490th Sabbatical cycle (70 X 7 = 490), since the Jubilee Cycle began in 1400 BCE, the year Joshua died. On Yahweh’s timekeeping Jubilee calendar, 2030 CE is 2,000 years from the destruction of the 2nd Temple in 70 CE; 1,960 physical years + 40 Jubilee years = 2,000 years per Yahweh’s Jubilee calendar. On Yom Kippur, 2030 CE, it is very possible that Yeshua Himself will declare the 70th Jubilee from Jerusalem, Israel. Don’t miss it, it’ll be a blast of the Last Trumpet. 1 Corinthians 15:51-58, “Behold, I tell you a mystery: We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed—52in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. 53For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. 54So when this corruptible has put on incorruption, and this mortal has put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written: “Death is swallowed up in victory.” 55“O Death, where is your sting? O Hades, where is your victory?” 56The sting of death is sin, and the strength of sin is the law. 57But thanks be to Yahweh, who gives us the victory through our Master Yeshua HaMashiach. 58Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Master, knowing that your labor is not in vain in Yahweh.”

As far as we know, our High Priest is still interceding for human souls. His heart’s cry has not changed over the course of history, He still desires men to repent of their sins and turn to Father Yahweh for forgiveness. Luke 5:31b-32, “Those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick. 32I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners, to repentance.” There is still time to repent, just not much of it. Much rain is coming and much time is over. Let’s pray with Jeremiah, “20We acknowledge, O Yahweh, our wickedness and the iniquity of our fathers, for we have sinned against You. 21Do not abhor us, for Your name’s (Yahweh) sake; do not disgrace the throne of Your glory. Remember, do not break Your covenant with us. 22Are there any among the idols of the nations that can cause rain? Or can the heavens give showers? Are You not He, O Yahweh our Great One? Therefore we will wait for You, since You have made all these.”

Grabbing my umbrella,
