Read the entire book of Obadiah (it’s only 21 verses of Obadiah’s vision against Edom, the descendants of Esau, Jacob’s brother), but let’s talk about verse 15-21, “For the day of Yahweh upon all the nations is near; as you (Edom, modern Jordanians, Palestinians, Syrians) have done, it shall be done to you; Your reprisal shall return upon your own head. 16For as you drank on My holy mountain (referring to the Temple Mount area), so shall all the nations drink continually; yes, they shall drink, and swallow, and they shall be as though they had never been.” Yahweh has still not forgotten what Edom did to Israel when they came out of Egypt. Edom would not allow Israel to cross their land. Edom will be utterly destroyed forever for not showing favor to Israel in their day of need. But Yahweh is not going to stop with the destruction of just Edom, He states here that He will destroy all the nations of the world, as if they had never been. That’s sounds final to me. You see, it does make a difference from which fountain you drink and whether or not you are qualified to drink from the fountain you are drinking from. Are you qualified to drink from Yahweh’s fountain? Are you called, chosen, and clothed in Yahweh’s righteousness? That other fountain is poison water, but it does taste good to the carnal man. It takes spiritual discernment to drink from Yahweh’s living river of water. Do you have that discernment today? If you’re drinking from the wrong fountain, you’re drinking damnation to your soul. Remember Paul’s words when speaking of the Lord’s supper, communion, Passover? 1 Corinthians 11:26-32, “For as often as you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord’s death till He comes. 27Therefore whoever eats this bread or drinks this cup of the Lord in an unworthy manner will be guilty of the body and blood of the Lord. 28But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of the bread and drink of the cup. 29For he who eats and drinks in an unworthy manner eats and drinks judgment to himself, not discerning the Lord’s body. 30For this reason many are weak and sick among you, and many sleep. 31For if we would judge ourselves, we would not be judged. 32But when we are judged, we are chastened by the Lord, that we may not be condemned with the world.” You can see clearly that it is possible to drink condemnation unto yourself, if you are drinking from the wrong fountain. If you’re not drinking from the fountain of the waters of life, you are drinking judgment unto yourself. This is especially true in religion, if you are drinking in false teaching and not the truth of Yahweh’s word, your soul is in trouble in the coming Day of Yahweh. If you are worshiping a false god, or at a false altar, or on a false day, then your soul is in big trouble on the coming Day of the Wrath of Almighty Yahweh.
“17“But on Mount Zion there shall be deliverance, and there shall be holiness; the house of Jacob shall possess their possessions. 18The house of Jacob shall be a fire, and the house of Joseph a flame; but the house of Esau shall be stubble; they shall kindle them and devour them, and no survivor shall remain of the house of Esau,” for Yahweh has spoken. 19The South (the Negev) shall possess the mountains of Esau, and the Lowland (Gaza) shall possess Philistia. They shall possess the fields of Ephraim and the fields of Samaria. Benjamin shall possess Gilead (Go Benjamin !!). 20And the captives of this host of the children of Israel shall possess the land of the Canaanites as far as Zarephath. The captives of Jerusalem who are in Sepharad shall possess the cities of the South (the Negev). 21Then saviors (deliverers) shall come to Mount Zion to judge the mountains of Esau, and the kingdom shall be Yahweh’s.” Yahweh wins, His people win, His Kingdom endures forever. Amen. His Day is coming upon us soon and suddenly. I hope you are ready, I hope the Edomites are ready to meet their Maker.
Be blessed,

Isaiah 58:11, “Yahweh will guide you continually, and satisfy your soul in drought, and strengthen your bones; you shall be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water, whose waters do not fail.”
