Rapturous Words

Rapturous Words

The Rapture is not just a theory, it’s been taught in the Church since the earliest days of the Apostles. The Scriptures promise us that we will be delivered from the wrath to come at the end of time. Lost folks have an appointment with the wrath of Yahweh, not us.

Romans 5:9, “Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him.”

1 Thessalonians 1:10, “and to wait for His Son from heaven, whom He raised from the dead, even Yeshua who delivers us from the wrath to come.”

1 Thessalonians 5:9-10, “For Yahweh did not appoint us to wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Master Yeshua Messiah, 10who died for us, that whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with Him.”

How did the Apostle Paul put it in 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18, “But I do not want you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning those who have fallen asleep, lest you sorrow as others who have no hope. 14For if we believe that Yeshua died and rose again, even so Yahweh will bring with Him those who sleep in Yeshua.

15For this we say to you by the word of the Master, that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Master will by no means precede those who are asleep. 16For the Master Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of Yahweh. And the dead in Messiah will rise first. 17Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Master in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Master. 18Therefore comfort one another with these words.”

And again in 1 Corinthians 15:50-58, “Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of Yahweh; nor does corruption inherit incorruption. 51Behold, I tell you a mystery: We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed—52in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. 53For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. 54So when this corruptible has put on incorruption, and this mortal has put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written: “Death is swallowed up in victory.”

55 “O Death, where is your sting?

O Hades, where is your victory?”

56The sting of death is sin, and the strength of sin is the law. 57But thanks be to Yahweh, who gives us the victory through our Master Yeshua HaMashiach.

58Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Master, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Master.”

So we know, based on the Word of Yahweh, that we will be raptured out of this world before the Judgment of Yahweh falls on the wicked humans left behind. Yeshua said that the end of time will be like it was in the days of Noah, Matthew 24:37-39, “But as the days of Noah were, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. 38For as in the days before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, 39and did not know until the flood came and took them all away, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be.” But what about Yahweh’s people in Noah’s day, it was Noah and his family only who were saved from the flood. Notice Yahweh saved Noah before the flood waters came on the earth. Read the story in Genesis 6-9. Also, look at the life of Lot. Yahweh saved him and his family, minus his sons-in-law, before destroying Sodom. Read the story in Genesis 18-19. When Yahweh sends angels to tell you to get out of town, GET OUT OF TOWN!

So the Scriptures describe two instances of Divine Judgment on the earth, supernatural, direct from the hand of Yahweh. Since Yahweh saved His people before these two Divine Judgments, will He not also save us before He destroys the nations of this present evil age? Yes, He will. Why? Because it is His character to do so, Yahweh never changes, so He will continue to act in accordance with His righteous, holy, perfect character. We will be removed to safety, protected from Yahweh’s wrath by being raptured, or caught up to meet Yeshua in the air. So repent daily and continue to put your trust in Yahweh and His righteous right arm of salvation. He’s great enough, He’s strong enough, He’s righteous enough, He’s tough enough to save even you. Believe His word, trust in what Yeshua has already done for you on His execution stake. Take it to the bank, you can trust Yahweh and His Son, Yeshua, He guarantees it, 2 Corinthians 5:1-5, “For we know that if our earthly house, this tent, is destroyed, we have a building from Yahweh, a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens. 2For in this we groan, earnestly desiring to be clothed with our habitation which is from heaven, 3if indeed, having been clothed, we shall not be found naked. 4For we who are in this tent groan, being burdened, not because we want to be unclothed, but further clothed, that mortality may be swallowed up by life. 5Now He who has prepared us for this very thing is Yahweh, who also has given us the Spirit as a guarantee.” You’ve got it made, my friends, Yahweh’s love, Yeshua’s blood, the Spirit’s guarantee. What more could you hope for? Now tell your neighbors the good news.
