THE DAILY
Romans 12:1-2, “I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of Yahweh, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to Yahweh, which is your reasonable service. 2And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of Yahweh.”
1 Corinthians 15:31, “I affirm, by the boasting in you which I have in Messiah Yeshua our Master, I die daily.”
Galatians 2:17-21, “But if, while we seek to be justified by Messiah, we ourselves also are found sinners, is Messiah therefore a minister of sin? Certainly not! 18For if I build again those things which I destroyed, I make myself a transgressor. 19For I through the Torah (Yahweh’s instructions) died to the oral traditions of men that I might live to Yahweh. 20I have been crucified with Messiah; it is no longer I who live, but Messiah lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of Yahweh, who loved me and gave Himself for me. 21I do not set aside the grace of Yahweh; for if righteousness comes through the oral traditions of men, then Messiah died in vain.”
Acts 3:1, “Now Peter and John went up together to the temple at the hour of prayer, the ninth hour (2 – 3:00 pm).” This is the second oblation offering time, the first happening from 8 – 9:00 am in the morning. The twice-daily oblation offerings are what Daniel was speaking about in Daniel 8:14, “And he said to me, “For two thousand three hundred evening-mornings (the twice-daily oblation offerings); then the sanctuary shall be (cleansing to be) cleansed.” 2,300 / 2-a-day offerings equal 1,150 solar days. These were not offerings for sin or atonement. They were simply offerings to acknowledge Yahweh and His ownership of the people and all of His creation. Over time it became a tradition for Sabbath-keeping devoted Hebrew brethren to go to church twice a day for the oblation offerings, prayer, teaching, and fellowship. This is especially where and when Yeshua taught his growing fellowship of disciples in Solomon’s porch of the Temple. The Apostles carried on this twice-daily prayer time and used it to teach the growing church.
Acts 2:15, “For these are not drunk, as you suppose, since it is only the third hour of the day.” Again, this is during the first oblation offering and prayer time from 8 – 9:00 am. This occasion was of course the Feast of Pentecost, when the Holy Spirit fell upon the 120 gathered believers. 120 brethren could not fit in the upper room as so many believe, they were gathered in Solomon’s porch, the area of the Temple where the Nazarene sect of Messianic believers regularly assembled. Since they were in the Temple area, the rushing mighty wind of the Spirit caused many to pay attention to what Yahweh was doing. You know the rest of the story, 3,000 Hebrews were saved that Pentecostal Sunday morning, May 26, 30 CE.
What I want you to understand about the daily is that it is the daily work of Yahweh in the Church by His Holy Spirit. It is the work of the Spirit-filled Church. Yahweh, through the example of Yeshua, has expanded the twice-daily of Hebrew tradition into the 24/7 ministry of His Bride, the Church of Yeshua Messiah. Yeshua did much of His ministry on the Sabbath, either in the Temple or in a synagogue, or on the street. Anytime is the work of the Body of Messiah, anytime is the work of the Church, anytime is the daily sacrifice of the true believer, anytime is the daily. Anytime is a good time to worship and serve our Master.
In the endtime, Yahweh sets apart a final 1,150 days to finish our work, after which He begins to cleanse His sanctuary, His body, His church, His Temple. Cleansing the sanctuary sounds to me a lot like chastening, disciplining, even judgment of His body, the Church. Ehesians 5:25-27, “Husbands, love your wives, just as Messiah also loved the church and gave Himself for her, 26that He might sanctify and cleanse her with the washing of water by the word, 27that He might present her to Himself a glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but that she should be holy and without blemish.” A purging is coming to the Body of Christ. In fact, we may already be inside this final 1,150 days, beginning around the Haiti earthquake in January, 2010 CE. Cleansing is not a rapturous experience, but it is a salvation experience. Repent and be clean.
Luke 21:34-36, “But take heed to yourselves, lest your hearts be weighed down with carousing, drunkenness, and cares of this life, and that Day come on you unexpectedly. 35For it will come as a snare on all those who dwell on the face of the whole earth. 36Watch therefore, and pray always that you may be counted worthy to escape all these things that will come to pass, and to stand before the Son of Man.” Paul explains in 1 Thessalonians 5:1-10, more of what Yeshua was speaking about, “But concerning the times and the seasons, brethren, you have no need that I should write to you. 2For you yourselves know perfectly that the day of Yahweh so comes as a thief in the night. 3For when they say, “Peace and safety (prosperity)!” then sudden destruction comes upon them, as labor pains upon a pregnant woman. And they shall not escape. 4But you, brethren, are not in darkness, so that this Day should overtake you as a thief. 5You are all sons of light and sons of the day. We are not of the night nor of darkness. 6Therefore let us not sleep, as others do, but let us watch and be sober. 7For those who sleep, sleep at night, and those who get drunk are drunk at night. 8But let us who are of the day be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love, and as a helmet the hope of salvation. 9For Yahweh did not appoint us to wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Master Yeshua Messiah, 10who died for us, that whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with Him.” Hebrews 12:25-29, “See that you do not refuse Him who speaks. For if they did not escape who refused Him who spoke on earth, much more shall we not escape if we turn away from Him who speaks from heaven, 26whose voice then shook the earth; but now He has promised, saying, “Yet once more I shake not only the earth, but also heaven.” 27Now this, “Yet once more,” indicates the removal of those things that are being shaken, as of things that are made, that the things which cannot be shaken may remain. 28Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom which cannot be shaken, let us have grace, by which we may serve Yahweh acceptably with reverence and godly fear. 29For our Mighty One is a consuming fire.” 1 Thessalonians 1:8-10, “For from you the word of the Master has sounded forth, not only in Macedonia and Achaia, but also in every place. Your faith toward Yahweh has gone out, so that we do not need to say anything. 9For they themselves declare concerning us what manner of entry we had to you, and how you turned to Yahweh from idols to serve the living and true Mighty One, 10and to wait for His Son from heaven, whom He raised from the dead, even Yeshua who delivers us from the wrath to come.”
We are called to escape the wrath of Yahweh, not the sanctifying, cleansing tribulation. Tribulation is our highway to holiness. Seven times hotter is seven years of hot tribulation. See you on the other side of the furnace. Watch, pray, serve, endure to the end.
