In the above video teaching of The Unanswerable Questions, the brethren at TestEverything.net ask 25 questions concerning the relativity of the Law, Yahweh’s Torah, His Book of Instructions. Here are the 25 questions with the referenced Scriptures written out:
1 – If the Law of Yahweh is perfect, Psalm 19:7 “The Torah of Yahweh is perfect, converting the soul. The Testimony of Yahweh is sure, making the simple wise.” … how can Perfect be made better? Good question, since the word for perfect here is Strong’s # H8549, meaning complete, whole, entire, sound.
2 – If the Law of Yahweh is freedom, how can liberty be bondage? Psalm 119:44-45 “And I shall keep Your Torah continually, forever and ever. 45And I will walk in the wilderness, for I seek Your Commandments.” James 1:25 “But the one looking into the perfect Law of liberty, and continuing in it, this one not having become a hearer of the word which can be forgotten, but a doer of the work, this one will be blessed in his labor.”
3 – Can what is declared to be true not be true? Psalm 119:142-143 “Your righteousness is forever, and Your Torah is truth. 143Distress and anguish have found me; Your Commandments are my delight.”
4 – Can the ways of righteousness change? Proverbs 2:20 “In order that you may walk in the ways of the good and keep the paths of the righteous.” Isaiah 51:7 “Hear Me, those knowing righteousness, the people of My Torah in their heart; do not fear the reproach of man, and do not be bowed from their blaspheming.” Psalm 119:141-142 “I am small and despised; I do not forget Your Precepts. 142Your righteousness is forever, and Your Torah is truth.” Deuteronomy 4:8 “And who is a great nation whose statutes and judgments are as righteous as all the Torah, which I set before you today?” 2 Peter 2:21 “For it was better for them not to have known the way of righteousness than having recognized it to turn from the holy commandment delivered to them.” 1 Timothy 3:16 “Truly, great is the divine mystery of righteousness [Yahshua]: which was revealed in the flesh, was justified in the Spirit, was seen by cherubs, was proclaimed among nations, was believed on in the world, was taken up in glory.”
5 – Can the way of Yahweh become a different way? Psalm 119:1 “Blessed are the upright in the way, who walk in the Torah of Yahweh.” Exodus 18:20 “And you warn them as to the statutes and the laws of the Torah, and make known to them the way in which they should walk, and the work which they should do.” Deuteronomy 10:12 “And now, Israel, what has Yahweh your Divine One asked of you, except to fear Yahweh your Divine One, to walk in all His ways, and to love Him, and to serve Yahweh your Divine One with all your heart, and with all your soul;” 1 Kings 2:3 “and keep the charge of Yahweh your Divine One, to walk in His ways, to keep His statutes, His commands, and His judgments, and His testimonies, as it is written in [Aleph Tav] the Law [Torah] of Moses, so that you may do wisely all that you do, and there wherever you may turn,” Proverbs 6:23 “For the commandment is a lamp, and the law a light; and reproofs of instruction are a way of life,” Isaiah 2:3 “And many people shall go and say, Come and let us go up to the mount of Yahweh, to the house of the Divine One of Jacob. And He will teach from His ways, and we will walk in His paths. For out of Zion the Torah will go forth, and the Word of Yahweh from Jerusalem.” Malachi 2:8 “But you have turned out of the way; you have caused many to stumble at the Torah. You have corrupted the covenant of Levi, says Yahweh of Hosts.” Mark 12:14 “And they came and asked him. Teacher, we realize that you are true, and do not show favoritism to men, for you do not look on the faces of the sons of men, rather in truth you teach the way of Yahweh. Is it lawful to give the head tax to Caesar or not? Should we give or not?” Acts 24:14 “But I confess this to you that according to the Way, which they say is a sect, I do serve the Divine One of my fathers, believing all the things written in the Torah and in the prophets.”
6 – If the Law of Yahweh if forever, when did forever become temporary?
Sabbath = forever Leviticus 16:31 “It is a Sabbath of rest to you, and you shall humble yourself. It is a never ending statute.”
Covenant = forever 1 Chronicles 16:15 “Remember His covenant forever, the Word He gave to a thousand generations,”
Law = forever Psalm 119:160 “The sum of Your Word is true; every one of Your righteous judgments endures forever.”
Word = forever Isaiah 40:8 “The grass withers; the flower fades; but the Word of our Divine One shall rise forever.”
7 – If breaking the Law of Yahweh is sin, can what is defined as sin suddenly become good? 1 John 3:4 “Everyone practicing sin also practices lawlessness, and sin is the breaking of the Torah.” Numbers 15:22-31 “And when you shall err and shall not perform all these commands which Yahweh has spoken to Moses, 23even all that Yahweh has commanded you by the hand of Moses from the day that Yahweh commanded, and onward for your generations, 24then it shall be, if it be done in ignorance by the congregation, without knowledge, even all the congregation shall offer a son of the herd, one bull, for a burnt offering, for a soothing fragrance to Yahweh, and its food offering, and its drink offering, according to the ordinance; and one kid of the goats for a sin offering. 25And the priest shall atone for all the congregation of the sons of Israel; and it shall be forgiven them. For it was in ignorance, and they have brought their offering, a fire offering to Yahweh, and their sin offering before Yahweh for their error. 26And all the congregation of the sons of Israel, and the alien that lives among them, shall be forgiven; for as to all the people, it was in ignorance. 27And if one person sins through ignorance, then he shall bring a she goat of the first year for a sin offering. 28And the priest shall atone for the soul that errs when he sins through ignorance before Yahweh to atone for him. And he shall be forgiven, 29both the native among the sons of Israel, and the alien that lives among them; one law shall be to you for him who acts in error. 30And the soul that does anything with a high hand in defiance, whether of a native or of the alien, the same blasphemes Yahweh. And that person shall be cut off from the midst of his people. 31For he has despised the Word of Yahweh and has broken His command; that soul shall utterly be cut off; his iniquity shall be on him.” Daniel 9:11 “Yea, all Israel has transgressed Your Torah and turned aside that they might not obey Your voice. For this reason the curse [Allah] has been poured out on us, and the oath that is written in the Torah of Moses the servant of the Divine One, because we have sinned against Him.”
8 – If the Law of Yahweh is light, can light stop being light? Psalm 119:105-106 “Your Word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path. 106I have sworn and I rise to it, to keep Your righteous judgments.”
9 – If the Law of Yahweh is life, can what is life no longer be life? Revelation 22:14 “Blessed are the ones doing His commandments, that their authority will be over the Tree of Life, and that they may enter by the gates into the city.”
10 – If Yahweh is the Word, John 1:1 “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with Yahweh, and the Word was Yahweh.” … and Yahweh does not change … Malachi 3:6 “For I am Yahweh, I do not change. Because of this, you sons of Jacob are not destroyed.” … How can we say the word has changed?
11 – If we are to delight in the Law, Psalm 1:2 “But his delight is only in the Torah of Yahweh, and he meditates in His Torah day and night.” … Psalm 119:70 “Their heart is like fat, without feeling; I delight in Your Torah. … 77Let Your mercies come to me that I may live; for Your Torah is my delight. … 92Unless Your Torah was my delight, then I had perished in my grief. … 174I have longed for Your salvation (Y’shua*), O Yahweh; and Your Torah is my delight.” Romans 7:22 “For I delight in the Torah of Yahweh according to the inward man;” … When did it stop being a delight?
12 – If we are told to walk in Yahweh’s Law, Deuteronomy 10:11-13 “And Yahweh said to me Rise up! Go before the people, causing them to set forward, that they may go in and possess the land which I swore to their fathers, to give it to them. 12And now, Israel, what has Yahweh your Divine One asked of you, except to fear Yahweh your Divine One, to walk in all His ways, and to love Him, and to serve Yahweh your Divine One with all your heart, and with all your soul; 13to keep the commandments of Yahweh, and His statutes which I am commanding you today, for your good.” … Messiah walked in the word, so we should walk as He walked … 1 John 2:5-6 “But whoever keeps His Word, truly in this one the love of Yahweh has been perfected. By this we know that we are in Him. 6The one claiming to rest in Him, ought to walk, himself, even as He walked.” … Paul said to follow Messiah’s example … 1 Corinthians 11:1 “Be imitators of me, as I am also of Messiah.” … Why would we walk differently?
13 – If Messiah is the Word in the flesh, John 1:14 “And the Word became flesh and tabernacled among us. And we beheld His glory, glory as of an only begotten one from the Father, full of grace and of truth.” … and the Word of Yahweh … Revelation 19:13 “and having been clothed in a garment which had been dipped in blood. And His name is called The Word of Yahweh.” (Isa. 63:2,3) … and some of the word of Yahweh is now abolished like some propose … Did Messiah abolish part of Himself?
14 – If the Law of Yahweh is how we are to love, Matthew 22:35-37 “And one of them, a lawyer, questioned Him, testing Him, and saying, 36Teacher, which is the great commandment in the Torah? 37And Yahshua said to him, “You shall love Yahweh your Divine One with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind.” (Deut. 6:5) … Does how to love Yahweh and others change?
15 – If the Law is intended to be good for us, and bless us, Deuteronomy 11:26-27 “Behold! I set before you today a blessing and a curse: 27a blessing if you hear the commandments of Yahweh your Divine One which I command you today;” Psalm 112:1 “HalleluYah! Blessed is the man who fears Yahweh, delighting greatly in His commandments.” Psalm 119:1-2 “Blessed are the upright in the way, who walk in the Torah of Yahweh. 2Blessed are those keeping His Testimonies, who seek Him with the whole heart.” Psalm 128:1 “Blessed is everyone who fears Yahweh, who walks in His ways.” Proverbs 8:32 “And now listen to me, O sons, for blessed are those who keep my ways.” Isaiah 56:2 “Blessed is the man who does this, and the son of man who lays hold on it; keeping the Sabbath, from defiling it; and keeping his hand from doing every evil.” Matthew 5:6 & 10 “Blessed are they who hunger and thirst after righteousness! For they shall be satisfied. . . 10Blessed are they who have been persecuted for righteousness’ sake! For theirs is the kingdom of Heaven.” Luke 11:28 “But He said, No; rather, blessed are those hearing the Word of Yahweh, and keeping it.” James 1:25 “But the one looking into the perfect Law of liberty, and continuing in it, this one not having become a hearer of the word which can be forgotten, but a doer of the work, this one will be blessed in his labor.” 1 Peter 3:14 “But if you truly suffer because of righteousness sake, you are blessed. and be not afraid of those who terrify you, neither be disturbed.” Revelation 22:14 “Blessed are the ones doing His commandments, that their authority will be over the Tree of Life, and that they may enter by the gates into the city.” All of Psalm 119. … Then why would He take it away from us?
16 – If keeping all of Yahweh’s commandments is the whole duty of man, Ecclesiastes 12:13 “Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear Yahweh, and keep His commandments; for this applies to every man.” … Is that no longer true?
17 – If ALL Scripture is instruction in righteousness, 1 Timothy 3:16 “Truly, great is the divine mystery of righteousness [Yahshua]: which was revealed in the flesh, was justified in the Spirit, was seen by cherubs, was proclaimed among nations, was believed on in the world, was taken up in glory.” … and we are to practice righteousness … 1 John 3:7 & 10 “Little children, let no one lead you astray; the one practicing righteousness is righteous, even as that One is righteous. . .10By this the children of Yahweh are distinguished from the children of the devil: Whoever does not practice righteousness and does not love his brother, does not belong to Yahweh.” Why not practice ALL Scripture?
18 – The Law cannot change till Heaven and Earth pass away, Matthew 5:17-18 “Do not think that I came to annul the Torah or the Prophets; I did not come to annul, but to fulfill. 18Truly I say to you, Until the heaven and the earth pass away, in no way shall one yod or one stroke pass away from the Torah until all comes to pass. … and anyone teaching such will be least in the Kingdom, Matthew 5:19 “Therefore, whoever loosens one of these commandments, the least, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the worst in the kingdom of Heaven. But whoever does and teaches them, this one shall be called great in the kingdom of Heaven.” … Why is it taught that the Law of Yahweh changed DESPITE what our Master said?
19 – When Messiah said to “observe and do” what is taught from Moses’ seat, Matthew 23:1-3 “Then Yahshua spoke to the crowd and to His disciples, 2saying, The scribes and the Pharisees have sat down on Moses’ seat. 3Then all things, whatever he (Moses) tells you to keep, keep and do. But do not do according to their (Scribes & Pharisees) works, for they talk, and do not do.” … And what was taught from Moses’ seat was the Law of Yahweh as written by Moses, Exodus 18:13 “And it happened on the next day that Moses sat to judge the people. And the people stood beside Moses from the morning until the evening.” … Why refuse to do what Messiah said?
20 – If Paul said he taught and practiced what Moses wrote, Acts 21:20 & 26 “And hearing, they glorified the Master, and said to him, You see, brother, how many myriads there are of Jews that have believed, and all are zealous ones of the Torah. . . 26Then taking the men on the next day, having been purified with them, Paul went into the sanctuary, declaring the fulfillment of the days of the purification, until the offering should be offered for each one of them.” Acts 24:13-14 “nor are they able to prove that concerning which they now accuse me. 14But I confess this to you that according to the Way, which they say is a sect, I do serve the Divine One of my fathers, believing all the things written in the Torah and in the prophets.” Acts 25:8 “Defending himself, Paul said, Neither against the Torah of the Jews, nor against the sanctuary, nor against Caesar have I sinned in anything.” … and Paul taught no difference between Jew and Greek, 1 Corinthians 12:12-14 “Even as the body is one, and has many members, but all the members of the one body, being many, are one body, so also is Messiah. 13For also we all were baptized by one Spirit into one body, whether Jews or Arameans, whether slaves or free, even all were given to drink into one Spirit. 14For also the body is not one member, but many.” Galatians 3:27-29 “For as many as were baptized into Messiah, you put on Messiah. 28There cannot be Jew nor Aramean, there is no slave nor freeman, there is no male and female; for you are all one (echad), united in Messiah Yahshua. 29And if you are of Messiah, then you are seeds of Abraham, even heirs according to the promise.” Colossians 3:10-12 “and put on the new life which is renewed in knowledge after the pattern in which it was originally created, 11where there is neither Jew or Aramean, circumcision and uncircumcision, foreigner, Scythian, slave or freeman, but Messiah is all and in all men. 12Therefore, as the elect of Yahweh, holy and beloved, put on bowels of mercy, kindness, humility, meekness, long-suffering,” … How is Paul against the Law and for the Law? Since Paul practiced and taught Moses, then that means he had to teach it to converted Gentiles as Moses wrote, … Numbers 15:16 “There shall be one law and one ordinance both for you and for the alien that lives with you.” Exodus 12:19, 38, 49 “19For seven days no leaven shall be found in your houses. For anyone eating any leaven, that soul shall be cut off from the congregation of Israel, among the foreigners, and among the natives of the land. . . 38And also a mixed multitude went up with them, and flocks, and herds, very many livestock. . . 49One law shall be to the native, and to the visitor, the one staying in your midst.” Leviticus 19:34 “as the native among you, so shall be the alien who is staying with you; and you shall love him as yourself, for you were aliens in the land of Egypt; I am Yahweh your Divine One.” Leviticus 24:22 “One judgment shall be for you whether an alien or a native; for I am Yahweh your Divine One.” Numbers 9:14 “And if an alien shall reside with you, and desires to keep the Passover to Yahweh; he shall do according to the statute of the Passover, and according to its ordinance. You shall have one statute, both for the alien and for the native of the land.” Numbers 15:15-16 & 29 “As for the congregation, there shall be one statute both for you and for the alien that lives with you, a never ending statute throughout your generations; as you are, so shall the alien be before Yahweh. 16There shall be one law and one ordinance both for you and for the alien that lives with you. . . 29both the native among the sons of Israel, and the alien that lives among them; one law shall be to you for him who acts in error.” Isaiah 42:6 “I, Yahweh, have called You in righteousness, and will hold Your hand, and will keep You, and give You for a covenant of the people, for a Light of the nations;” Isaiah 60:3 “And nations shall walk to your light, and kings to the brightness of your dawning.” Matthew 5:14 “You are the light of the world. It is not possible to hide a city that is built on a mountain.” Ephesians 2:10-13 “for we are His workmanship, created in Messiah Yahshua unto good works, which Yahweh before prepared that we should walk in them. 11Because of this, remember that you, the nations, were then in the flesh from the beginning and you were called Uncircumcision, differing from those called Circumcision, which is the work of the hands in the flesh; 12that at that time you were without Messiah, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel and strangers of the covenants of promise, having no hope and without Yahweh in the world. 13But now, in Messiah Yahshua you who then were afar off, are brought near by the blood of Messiah.” Acts 13:47 “For so our Master has commanded us, “I have set You for a Light to the nations, that You be for salvation to the end of the earth.”” (Isa. 49:6) Romans 11:16-27 “Now if the first-fruit is holy, so also the lump. And if the root is holy, so also the branches. 17But if some of the branches were broken off, and you, being a wild olive tree were grafted in among them, and became a sharer of the root and the fatness of the olive tree, 18do not boast against the branches. But if you do boast, it is not you that bears the root, but the root bears you. 19You will say then, The branches were broken off that I might be grafted in. 20Well! For unbelief they were broken off. And you stand by faith. Do not be high minded, but fear. 21For if Yahweh did not spare the natural branches, fear that it may be He will not spare you either. 22Behold, then, the kindness and severity of Yahweh: On those having fallen, severity. But on you kindness, if you continue in the kindness. Otherwise, you will also be cut off. 23And those also, if they do not continue in unbelief, will be grafted in. For Yahweh is able to graft them in again. 24For if you were cut out of the natural wild olive tree, and against nature were grafted into a good olive tree, how much more these being according to nature will be grafted into their own olive tree? 25For I do not want you to be ignorant of this mystery, brothers, so that you may not be wise within yourselves, that hardness in part has happened to Israel until the fullness of the nations comes in; (Gen. 48:8-19) 26and so all the tribes of Israel will be saved, even as it has been written, “The Deliverer will come out of Zion, and He will turn away iniquity from Jacob. 27And this is My covenant with them, when I take away their sins.”” (Isa. 59:20, 21; Jer. 50:3-8) Notice that in verse 21 above, Paul is teaching the exact message of Messiah from Matthew 7:21-23. Read and heed! Jeremiah 31:31-34 “Behold, the days come, says Yahweh, that I will cut a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah, 32not according to the covenant that I cut with their fathers in the day I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt (which covenant of Mine they broke, although I was to be a husband to them, says Yahweh). 33But this shall be the covenant that I will cut with the house of Israel: After those days, declares Yahweh, I will put My Torah in their inward parts, and I will write it on their hearts; and I will be their Divine One, and they shall be My people. 34And they shall no longer each man teach his neighbor, and each man his brother, saying, Know Yahweh. For they shall all know Me, from the least of them even to the greatest of them, declares Yahweh. For I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sins no more.” Ezekiel 37.
1 John 2:10 “The one loving his brother rests in the light, and no offense is in him.” 1 John 1:7 “But if we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of His Son Yahshua Messiah cleanses us from all sin.”
21 – If we are to love Yahweh by keeping His commandments, 1 John 5:2-3 “By this we know that we love the children of Yahweh: When we love Yahweh and keep His commandments. 3For this is the love of Yahweh, that we keep His commandments; and His commandments are not a burden to us.” … as a response to Him loving us, 1 John 4:19 “We love Him because He first loved us.” … Why would we only keep some of His commandments?
22 – Isaiah 66:15-16 “For, behold, Yahweh will come with fire, and His chariots like the whirl-wind, to return His wrath in fury, and His rebuke in flames of fire. 16For by fire and by His sword Yahweh will execute judgment with all flesh; and the slain of Yahweh shall be many.” If He cares then, why would we assume that He doesn’t care now?
23 – Zechariah 14:16 “And it shall be, everyone who is left from all the nations which came up against Jerusalem shall go up from year to year to worship the King, Yahweh of Hosts, and to keep the Feast of The Sukkot.” … Why would we be expected to celebrate Tabernacles before the cross, but not after the cross, but then celebrate it again when the Master returns?
24 – If Messiah is the Word of Yahweh, John 1:14 “And the Word became flesh and tabernacled among us. And we beheld His glory, glory as of an only begotten one from the Father, full of grace and of truth.” Revelation 19:13 “and having been clothed in a garment which had been dipped in blood. And His name is called The Word of Yahweh.” (Isa. 63:2,3) … and He is the same yesterday, today, and forever, Hebrews 13:8 “Yahshua Messiah, the same yesterday and today and forever.” … then how is it that the Word of Yahweh is not the same yesterday, today, and forever?
25 – Peter’s warning about Paul and the Law, 2 Peter 3:15-17 “And consider the long-suffering of our Master as salvation, as also our beloved brother Paul wrote to you, according to the wisdom given to him; 16as also in all his epistles, speaking in them concerning these things, in which some things are hard to understand, which those that are ignorant and unstable pervert their meaning, as also they do the rest of the Scriptures, to their own destruction. 17Therefore beloved, since you know these things beforehand, guard yourself, lest being led away by the error of the lawless [torahless] you fall from your own steadfastness.” Paul is the very person that Peter warns us not to use to teach against the Law of Yahweh! Why would anyone use him?
In conclusion, I want to let you know that the Scriptures, the doctrine and Word of Yahweh, do not leave room for false theories like Replacement Theology, or false concepts like, “We’re no longer under the Law”. People, the moment you break one of the least of the commandments, you are UNDER the Law and subject to its penalties. Ask any law enforcement officer or judge. Yahshua saves us from the penalty for breaking His Law through His blood, but He still wants us to obey Him and follow His Word. Our Goal is to become like our Messiah, the Law simply points out to us where we’re missing the mark in pursuit of our goal. If you sin, ask His forgiveness, thank Him for it, and move on, continue obeying ALL Scripture. No one obeys Yahweh’s calendar or feasts perfectly, nor makes disciples perfectly, but that’s no excuse for not trying to imitate our Messiah!!
Many Christians do lots of cool religious stuff, but may not end up in the Kingdom. Matthew 7:21-23 “It will not be that just everyone who says to Me, Master, Master, will enter into the kingdom of Heaven, but the ones who do the will of My Father in Heaven. 22Many will say to Me in that day, Master, Master, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name cast out demons, and in Your name do many works of power? 23And then I will declare to them, from everlasting, I never knew you; “depart from Me, those working lawlessness!”” (Psa. 6:8) Yahweh’s Word is His will. Don’t let religious spirits, false teachers, or false prophets lead you to destruction.
