Yahuwah’s Name – Oldest Known Script Found
Check out the article with the link above. What a great find by our brothers over at the Associates for Biblical Research, even though it was found in a curse tablet! I find it fascinating that the letters represented are the first three letters of each syllable of Yahuwah’s name Y = Yah; H = Hu; W = Wah. Even though I’ve never seen this script before, I believe that Yahuwah has led me to this English transliteration of His name during my studies relating to editing and publishing my Son Of Man Bible under a Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International license. Recently, I came across a spelling for Jesus, which I used to spell Yeshua, but I found a brother’s spelling I like even better, Yeshuwah. I believe the Royal Divine family name is Wah, not Yah, like so many others think. The Yah represents He who was, Hu represents He who is, and Wah represents He who is to come. Their names are also prophetic! Yeshuwah’s name then becomes Savior Who is to come!! To me, this is a very reasonable rendition of Yeshuwah’s name in English.
Mark 1:1, “This is the beginning of the gospel of Yeshuwah Messiah, the Son of Yahuwah.” This is one example of how I render Yeshuwah’s name in my Son Of Man Bible.
Yeshuwah also called himself the Son Of Yahuwah and the Son of the virgin in Matthew 24:30, “Then the sign (pillar of fire) of the Son of Yahuwah will appear in the sky, and all the tribes of the earth will mourn. They will see the Son of the virgin coming on the clouds of the sky with power and great glory.” I found the Son of the virgin in the English translation of a Hebrew gospel of Matthew. Quite unique, I blogged about that earlier.
Yeshuwah, our great and glorious Savior who is to come back to earth soon. I would like to see him back here sooner rather than later! Wouldn’t you? Yeshuwah’s soon return is our heart’s desire and the desire of many of his followers around the world today. Come Master Yeshuwah!
My Bible dictionary renders Yeshuwah like this for Strong’s number H3442, meaning he is saved:
Original: ישׁוּע
- Transliteration: Yeshuwa`
- Phonetic: yay-shoo'-ah
And like this for Strong’s number H3091, meaning Yahuwah is salvation:
Original: יהושׁע יהושׁוּע
- Transliteration: Yehowshuwa`
- Phonetic: yeh-ho-shoo'-ah
The most important thing is to love Yeshuwah and his name, no matter how you might spell it in English or any other language. His name is great and greatly to be praised! When Yahuwah states we will know his name, He’s not talking about knowing how to pronounce it or how to spell it. He’s talking about knowing him, his fame, character, and reputation!
Our Creator is a wonderful person and teaches us daily how to love him and our fellow man, even the most unlovely and repulsive individuals on this planet. We have all been created in his image. It is not easy to love people who hate Yahuwah and love evil, but we are still commanded to do so. Always remember, you’re not so great yourself. No matter how mature we think we are, we’re still too selfish, too egotistical, too self-centered, too narcissistic. We all still have too much of a megalomaniac living in us. Pride still needs to be chopped out of the heart of each one of us. Thank Yeshuwah he keeps working on us every day. Thank him for each breath he gives us.
Matthew 5:44-45, “And I say to you, love your enemies and pray for those who slander and persecute you, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, 45so that you may be children of your Father who is in heaven. For he makes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the just and the unjust.”
